THE police are investigating the suspected murder of Susie Ramdeen, 20, of Swan Street, Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara, whose body was found in a canal at Houston, East Bank Demerara at about 20:00hrs Saturday.

Investigations revealed that the victim had left home in the company of her reputed husband and her body was subsequently found in the canal. The body is at the Lyken Funeral Home in the city, awaiting a post mortem examination.
The woman’s reputed husband has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
