Kaieteur News days numbered due to poor journalism ethics

I WRITE to share my views on the way Kaieteur News conducts its business of its understanding of investigative journalism and its lame claims of being the “watch dog” for Guyana as it relates to public infrastructure and investment. The slanted and misinformation campaign being perpetuated by the Kaieteur News is distasteful and lacks proper information rather than solid evidence, which is the basis for any investigative reporting. Kaieteur News and its handlers continue to mislead and be misled themselves by hearsay, rather than doing actual investigative journalism.
In their exigency to propagate untruth, critical information and explanations are not taken into account and the average reader knows the truth and the game Kaieteur News is playing. We, the ordinary people of Guyana will not be fooled by the lies being peddled by Kaieteur News and other sections of the media. People now read Kaieteur News to catch up on gossip, because this newspaper will not be taken seriously for their amateur writing and poor journalistic principles.
The management of Kaieteur News has reduced itself to resorting to gutter politics and to serve personal interest rather than keeping members of the public informed through actual news of what is happening in Guyana and farther afield. Kaieteur News has set the stage for its own natural death and in time will soon be replaced with entities that provide reliable information, as Demerara Waves and Guyana times are doing currently.
