KERRY Cromwell, of Lot 130 King Edward Street, Albouystown, Georgetown, was remanded yesterday, on two robbery under arms charges.
He appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, charged indictably, with the March 1 knifepoint robbery of Paulas Chandra, who was robbed of one gold chain and two gold rings, with a total value of $224,000. The second charge said, last February 22, being armed with a knife and in company of another person, Cromwell robbed Trovecia Barker of a handbag containing items valued $19,000.
Police Corporal Venetta Pindar, prosecuting, successfully objected to bail for the accused, on the grounds that he may commit other offences and interfere with the witnesses.
