POLICE are probing an armed robbery on Wednesday night in which a city businessman was robbed by a gunman. At about 21:15hrs, businessman Gregory Lewis, 55, of Anira Street, Queenstown, Georgetown, was attacked and robbed of his gold jewellery, a cell phone and $30,000 by a man armed with a handgun.
Lewis was coming out of his vehicle when he was confronted by the gunman who relieved him of the articles. The robber than discharged a round in the air and escaped.
