FOLLOWING a fire which destroyed SD Computers and Security Systems late last year at De Willem, West Coast Demerara, the business entity resumes operations today at its new location, Madina building in the neighbouring village of Zeeburg. Owner of the business Shaun Nabiyah-bi, a University of Guyana graduate in computer science, told the Guyana Chronicle that despite his nearly $7M in losses of equipment and accessories, the reopening of his business will see an improved and wider range of services including photo copying and other related services.
The business which provides computer and phone repairs and sale of computers and phones and their accessories is one of the more established ones on the West Demerara.
A fire of unknown origin struck in November last year and gutted the entire building in which SD Computers and Security Systems was located, destroying the entire building.
