JOSHLIN Congreaves, a spray painter of Lot 1999 Tucville, Georgetown, was granted $50,000 bail yesterday after he pleaded not guilty to possession of a utensil used for smoking cocaine. Before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, it was alleged that he was caught using it at his residence on Wednesday, February 2.
Police Sergeant Lionel Harvey, prosecuting, said a search of the defendant’s house yielded the utensil under his bed.
It was examined and found to contain the narcotic, the Prosecutor said, before the case was transferred to another court for February 15.
