Nothing to Laugh About 4 explodes at NCC weekend

CONSIDERED as the father of all satirical plays in Guyana ‘Nothing to Laugh About’ would explode with its fourth sequel at the National Cultural centre this weekend.
The play which has over the years given patrons more than their desired share of hilarious reflections of everyday events in Guyana, has always been a must see affair on the entertainment calendar for locals and visitors alike.
Patrons never seem to have enough of it, thus technically forcing its producers to produce more and more hilarious sequels to satisfy their fans big appetite for outrageous laughter.
So come this weekend (4th, 5th and 6th February) Nothing to Laugh About 4 offers a mirthful of entertainment that you will be glad that you have never missed.
Titled “Da Bomb”, the shows promise to expose who really had the bomb on Stabroek Market, who dating who man, who cheating pon dem man, who’s the REAL boss in the GPF and a must-see episode entailing Lyndon ‘Jumbie’ Jones hilarious revelation of behind the scenes events at the Brickdam lock-ups.
Stunning and side-splitting performances will also be rendered by Miranda ‘Queenie’ Austin, Richard Naraine, Clemencio Goddette, Chris Gopaul, Gerard Gilkes, Simone Persaud, Imran Kazim, Leeza Singh, Julia DeCruz, Sir Kirwyn Mars and Shelly Bankcroft.
Tickets are $800, $1,200 and $1,500 and can be found at the usual outlets: Giftland OfficeMAX, Matt’s Record Bar, Nigel’s Supermarket, Payless Variety Store, Johnny P Supermarket and the National Cultural Centre.
