FORMER beauty queen Carolan Lynch was absent, again, yesterday, when the case, in which she is charged with murdering her Swiss House Cambio boss husband, Farouk Razack, was called, once more. Police Inspector Stephen Telford, prosecuting, asked Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry for another long adjournment, stating that the accused has still not been located.
The Court granted a postponement to April 28 and the Prosecutor assured that the police are making every effort to apprehend Lynch.
Lynch was first charged with the capital offence in May 2007 but was freed the following year when then Magistrate Gordon Gilhuys ruled that a prima facie case had not been made out against her.
But a new charge was instituted for the same murder last year.
Razack was found dead on the floor of his Eping Avenue, Bel Air Park, Georgetown house, where the couple lived. He was bleeding through his nose and mouth and a subsequent autopsy established that he had been strangled.
