CHARLES Prophet and Tracey Maxwell yesterday appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate, Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, charged with unlawfully assaulting each other on January 12 last. Maxwell, who is a taxi dispatcher, is the mother of Prophet’s child.
The facts of the case state that on that day the two defendants assaulted each other around 20:00hrs and the matter was reported to the Kitty Police Station where Maxwell
submitted a medical certificate.
In court yesterday, Maxwell was placed on $10,000 bail, and Prophet on $24,000 bail.
