Nathoo takes lead in Trophy Stall Chess Tourney

LORIS Nathoo has taken the lead in The Trophy Stall Chess Tournament based on the Buchollz tiebreaker system.
Nathoo along with David Khan, former national champion Wendell Meusa and Pierre Boucher are all tied on two and a half points each after the completion of three rounds of the tournament which started last weekend.

Nathoo drew with Meusa in round three, while Khan and Boucher drew in round one. Alexander Duncan and Rodwell Poole are on two points apiece. Errol Tiwari, Chino Chung, Haatram Parbat, Glenford Corlette and Shiv Nandalall all on one point apiece.
Rashad Hussain is unbeaten with four points in the junior category as he  secured the early lead. Hussain created a stunner by defeating Suhai Feng in round three. Hussian is closely followed by Saeed Ali and Shane Yussuf on three and a half points.
Khalid Gajraj, Anthony Drayton and Davion Mars on three points, Suhai Feng and Raan Motilall on two and a half points. Aslam Hussain, Raberto Neto, Joshua Pedro, Harresvera Persaud, Viddesh Shameer and Vaughn Moses are on two points apiece.
The tournament continues this Sunday at 10:00 h at the Keishar’s Sports Club on Hadfield Street and is sponsored by Trophy Stall of the Bourda Market and City Mall.
