Kitty culvert collapsed a long time ago

IN RESPONSE to Mr. Royston King’s lame excuse…Well, to date, no construction has been done.
Poor construction and materials were used to do the construction.
Imagine putting an iron culvert down in the ground to drain an alleyway without having a concrete underlying support to hold it from sinking. What Mr. Royston King think will happen when iron is submerged in water?

Then there is that major problem called “people paying property rates and taxes” City Council does absolutely nothing for this area or any area as a matter of fact. It’s better to pay the Ministry of Works rates and & taxes because in the end they are the ones that are going have to do the repairs.
So Mr. King your lame excuse of heavy flow of traffic and for not having money or building materials, will not suffice. I was there last July/August and since before that the culvert collapsed causing flooding to people’s homes.
I wish Mr. Royston King would go and visit the area when it rains to smell the stench that backs up into people’s homes.

That alleyway between Station and Owen Streets, Kitty, should be filled and the extra land given to home owners of both streets.
It stinks and a site for sore eyes but it’s better left that way to prevent thieves from accessing and entering people’s back yard.
There are filthy people who use that alley as their garbage dump. Alleyways like that should be a thing of the past.
