THIRTY-FOUR-YEAR-OLD Leon Thomas (no address given) appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday, on a simple larceny charge.
He pleaded not guilty to having, last November 16, stolen four tyres valued $120,000 property of Kei-Shar’s Store.
The defendant told the Court he was employed as a security guard at the business place, where he was framed because he complained, to the Ministry of Labour, about money owed to him by the employer.
Thomas was granted $75,000 bail until January 14.
