Shiwtahal’s haul confirms Number Two place in final 8
THE 2010 Berbice Cricket Board (BCB)-organised Spready’s Bakery-sponsored Under-19 limited overs competition resumed recently with Number Two winning their latest Zone B (West Bank Berbice) preliminary match to end unbeaten in that zone, thus earning the right to advance to the quarter-finals of the competition.
In their match against D’Edward which was reduced to 35 overs-a-side, they did well to reach 176 for 6 in their 35 overs, to which D’ Edward, who were at one stage 40 without loss, replied with 84, thanks to the bowling of off-spinner Krishna Shiwtahal who engineered the collapse with his 7-7 taken from five overs.
