The Police Force Band serenaded Berbicians with Christmas songs during a visit  to the Ancient County on Tuesday.
Conducted by Assistant Superintendent  Clive Mc Coy , the 29-member band,  with mainly wind instruments, played ‘It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas’ among other holiday tunes much to the delight of shoppers at the New Amsterdam Municipal Market.
Mc Coy, in an invited comment, told the Guyana Chronicle that the band had earlier played at the Rose Hall Market on the Corentyne. He said stops would also be made at Rosignol, Mahaicony and Mahaica, before the musicians returned to the capital city .
