THE police are investigating the murder of Jermaine Jones, 29 years, of Back Street, Ruimzeight, West Coast Demerara which reportedly occurred at about 05:00 hrs yesterday at his home. Investigations have revealed that Jones and the 18-year-old suspect who resides in the same house had an argument over a cell phone during which Jones was stabbed about his body.

The Police, in a statement, said he was taken to the Leonora Cottage Hospital where he was pronounced ‘dead on arrival’.

Up to press time, the suspect has not yet been arrested.
