THE People’s Progressive Party yesterday extended “deepest sympathy” to the family and friends of Winston Murray who died on Monday night after a brief illness.
The PPP, in a message, also extends its sympathy to the main opposition People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) on the passing of one of its leading members.
“Winston Murray had a very successful career in public service. He worked in Government and in the opposition. He worked hard in Parliament on behalf of his constituency. In this Parliament he was one of the best Parliamentarians,” the PPP stated.
“Despite his strong political views and advocacy on behalf of the PNCR, Murray always maintained a good personal relationship with members of both sides of the house,” the party added.
The PPP said Murray will be missed.
