I have seen a letter in today’s Stabroek News in which Belatedly Matriculated Junior Counsel (BMJC) Christopher Ram states boldly that the current acting Auditor General is not qualified to be appointed to his position. I would like Mr. Ram to state the basis on which he has reached this conclusion. In which law are the academic qualifications requirement of the position of Auditor General prescribed? And, if Mr. Ram cannot find a law where these requirements are defined, then one can only conclude that this letter was yet another one of BMJC Ram’s habitual self-serving lies.
How did Ram conclude Auditor General not qualified for confirmation?
