ATTORNEY-at-Law Mr. Vic Puran, the defence lawyer in the West Bank, Demerara murder trial, who is challenging the expertise of Government Pathologist, Dr. Nehaul Singh, yesterday complained that the certification sent him was political certification and not evidence of qualification.
The  lawyer who conceded that the doctor can give evidence as a GMO has asked the court to request  Prosecutor Miss Latchmie  Rahamat  to  produce the following:-
(1)   Which medical teaching institution conferred upon the doctor the degree in Anatomia Patologica.
(2)    The subjects which he studied during the Specialty anatomia Patologica’
(3)    The evaluaciones or notas for the various subjects done in the Specialty anatomia Patologica.
(4)     Pathology   –    examination of tissues   – deals with natural death.
(5)     Produce any qualification to show that he has passed academic subjects to deal with unnatural death
