THE Alfro Alphonso supermarket, which is to open at Charity, Essequibo Coast, shortly, will be the first in Guyana to offer Canadian ‘Dixie Lee’ chicken and seafood products locally. Managing Director of the Alphonso Group of Companies, Alfro Alphonso, informed Prime Minister Samuel Hinds of the venture when the latter toured the five-storey complex recently.
Alphonso said that the Canadian products will be sold on the first floor of the building on which $400M was invested for the construction.
The opening of the business place is scheduled for November 27.
