I attended, as a guest, the CPG function on October 17 at New Amsterdam where dozens of persons were traumatised after having lunch. I did not partake because I am a vegetarian. I was fortunate; a few others too. I hope that those who were affected will be back to normal soon. My investigations revealed that the food was transported in the back of a vehicle which was earlier used to transport agricultural chemicals. The vehicle was (allegedly) not washed. Negligence? Whose?
Many there were curious as to why the food was prepared by the Divisional Chairman at his residence. Profit motive? How much? It was also stated that this same individual has a pending matter of (allegedly) causing death using a CPG vehicle for his personal leisure. Is the CPG movement for the convenience of a few?
It is sad that if you have the right contacts, you can do anything and get off. I wonder who would get off whom, if any person should die from the food poisoning.
