I found Mr. Keith Burrowes’ article on ‘Engaging the Elderly’, which was published in the Chronicle, to be very refreshing and timely.
I tend to agree that there are many who have already retired; and those of my age group as well, who will soon retire and are thinking along the lines as adumbrated by Mr. Burrowes.

If there was such a place in Guyana where an elderly person(s) can feel safe and is affordable, I am sure it will be a hit, especially for those who are tired of the cold and all the disadvantages that come with being elderly living in a fast-paced society.
