PEOPLE’S Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) member of the Region Two (Pomeroon/Supenaam) Regional Democratic Council (RDC), Mrs. Mavis Blucher, has described students of Charity Secondary School, on the Essequibo Coast, as “very indisciplined”.
A House Mother at the dormitory there, she said students are deliberately breaking windows and pipelines, not properly dressed and their parents are not cooperating.
Regional Chairman, Mr. Alli Baksh, said the administration of schools is very important and called on all heads and staff to pay more attention to it.
Concerning the destruction also of gates and fences, he told the RDC meeting that, when those fixtures are destroyed, they cost more money to fix.
