Mr. LIONEL Peters seems bent on misrepresenting the facts regarding the selection of presidential candidates. Since he was not a member of the leadership of the Party and as such was not privy to what actually transpired, he writes from a position of ignorance of the facts.
Mr. Peters should therefore defer to those who were actually present at the time of the deliberations and refrain from making wild and ill-founded statements about Party leaders in particular Mrs. Jagan who is no longer around to defend the vile statements attributed to her.
I found it not only distasteful but unethical for Mr. Peters to comment on issues he is ill-prepared if not unqualified to comment on.
