MINISTER of Culture, Youth and Sport, Dr. Frank Anthony on Saturday held a meeting at the Carifesta Sports Complex to discuss with members of the entertainment sector, the creation and implementation of a National Drama Festival, as well as to set up a theatre school for youths.
The meeting targeted specifically persons involved in theatre, including those associated with drama, dance and writing, who volunteered to work along with the Ministry by being part of the committee to plan the sequences of the proposed festival, which is to be held next year.
The festival aims to benefit youths who are interested in drama and creative art, as well as stimulate new writings and acting among others.
