Rhondina Adams, 29, yesterday morning doused herself with a flammable liquid and set herself alight in her home at TT Bent Street. Reports say that the woman committed suicide following a family quarrel.
It is understood that she had a row with her husband, Egbert Adams, and had removed to her grandmother’s home in the same yard.
She reportedly had a row with her grandmother yesterday and ran out of the house, sobbing.
She went into the house she shared with her husband and set herself on fire.
Husband Egbert Adams was reported as saying that the couple had a matter pending in the Human Service Ministry. The couple has two children, aged seven years and eleven months.
