Unfortunately, reading some o’ de papers and watching some TV programmes here, does contaminate de quietness. What some o’ de newspapers and TV sehing, does scream at yuh loud loud. Everyday a certain set o’ people always “buseing” and “negativeising”. Is like noise nuisance.

Daily, Glenn through Freddie and Adam, two of dem letter writer friends, Gordon, Julia and de “crime news” gang and Anand always blabbing and doing dem best fuh mek country look bad. Fuh dem, nothing ain’t good. De recession that spare de country; that ain’t good. De CLICO policyholders getting back dem money; that ain’t good. De international swimming pool we getting; that ain’t good. The plenty progress that happening; that ain’t good.

Dem not talking ‘bout de millions in de USA that now living in poverty. Dem not talking ‘bout de floods and wildfires and mudslides that kill thousands in the USA and other countries. Dem not talking ‘bout de millions that unfortunately starving ‘round de globe. Dem not talking how things far far better here than even in many parts o’ de USA! No. Dem would never talk ‘bout that since it will mek dem look bad!
