POLICE in ‘E&F’ Division are investigating the murder of Rawle Peters also known as ‘Dumb Boy’, 23, of Haslington, East Coast Demerara.
The miner was killed at Puruni Landing, Mazaruni, about 06:00 h on Monday, following a misunderstanding with another man.
Police said he suffered a stab wound to the left side of his chest but his killer was still at large up to press time.
The victim’s body is at a city mortuary awaiting a post mortem examination.
