From out of the mouths of infants, we learn the truth

THE article in Kaieteur News dated September 6, 2010 headlined: “AFC State Dept. Visit Vindicates Party on Cocaine Allegations” makes good reading, having set out the policy of the officials of the US State Department with regards to persons who deal with cocaine traffickers.

According to a senior official of the AFC, if the US State Department officials had not been convinced that they did not deal with cocaine traffickers, the meeting with the AFC officials would not have taken place.
From out of the mouths of infants, we learn the truth and we are reinforced in our knowledge and belief that the administration of the Guyana Government including His Excellency the President and officials have no dealings with drug traffickers.

They have been meeting with not only the minions of and at the State Department with whom AFC officials seem tremendously impressed, but also with the President of the USA and other senior members of that administration.

Do AFC officials and others still need confirmation of the government’s non-involvement?
But what bothers me is why so much emphasis of drug dealing or involvement with drug traffickers and AFC’s desperate efforts to convince that they are “not guilty”.

Is it not a case of protesting too much?
