COORDINATOR of Hinterland Affairs, Mr. Harripersaud Nokta and a high level delegation are to visit Region Two (Pomeroon/Supenaam) today and tomorrow for the commissioning of several projects at Capoey and St. Deny’s on the Essequibo Coast. A release from the Regional Administration said Nokta will commission the solar power well and electrification project in the St. Deny’s community and, at Capoey, another similar well, a new pavilion revetment and a boat.
St. Deny’s Toshoa, Ms. Doreen Jackobus and Capoey Toshoa, Ms. Valerie De Younge said the functions are part of the Amerindian Heritage Month programme.
Nokta is also to convene community meetings at Mashabo and  Lima Sands, on the Essequibo Coast, as well.
