The Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha is hosting two world renowned Swamis. Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami and Satguru Shanmuganatha are from the Ashram in Hawaii, USA.
The Sabha is inviting the public to lectures on Hinduism by these to international spiritual leaders on the Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 of August, 2010.
The first lecture is at the Parika Dharmic Temple, East Bank Essequibo on August 23, at 18:30h while the second one is on August 24 at the Tain Dharmic Kendra, Corentyne Berbice at 10:30 hours and at the Convention Centre, Liliandaal, East Coast Demerara the session begins at 19:30 hours. At the Convention Centre, the Swamis will meet with Hindu leaders from various Hindu organisations throughout Guyana and will engage members in discussions on Hinduism.
The Swamis are expected to meet with President Bharrat Jagdeo and will also appear on a television interview before their departure.
The Kauai Hindu Monastery from which they belong was founded by Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami. They are the publishers of Hinduism Today – a journal which is widely respected and recognised for its many researches on all aspects Sanatan Dharma.
