President Bharrat Jagdeo last evening hosted a reception at State House for residents of Buxton, as they celebrated several activities to commemorate the village’s 170th anniversary.
Lyndon Barton, a Buxtonian who resides overseas, presented a copy of his book “20th Anniversary booklet for the Guyana and friends picnic in Delaware” to President Jagdeo.
The book provides information about Guyana with the intention of stimulating visitors’ interest.
