VOICE of Faith Miracle Ministries will hold its annual convention at Riversview, opposite Bartica along Essequibo River.
A release, from the Bartica headquarters, said the programme will begin on August 22 and conclude on August 28, under the theme ‘Presbytery and the Prophetic Call’. The release said 200 members, from member churches on the Essequibo Coast, Bartica, West Coast Demerara and Niew Nickerie and Apura in Suriname, will join others and residents of Riversview for the day and night sessions.
Accommodation and meals will be provided for church members who will be living in for the duration.
Essequibians will leave Essequibo Coast on Friday, August 20, by Transport and Harbours Department (T&HD) ferry, from Adventure Stelling and travel to Parika, East Bank Essequibo, where they will meet with brethren from Suriname and West Coast Demerara and all proceed to Bartica, then cross by speedboat to Riversview.
This year, prayers will be said, again, for peace to continue in the country, especially at elections time.
