-one appeal withdrawn
PARIAG Ramlochand, one of 15 persons who had been waiting on their appeals against convictions and sentences for various offences including narcotics had his appeal withdrawn or discontinued. This was so because he appealed since 2005 and  has already served his sentence.  He was represented by Mr. Lance Ferreira.
Heading the call over matters in the Full Court before Acting Chief Justice, Mr. Ian Chang, S.C and Justice Winston Patterson, was Appellant Aubrey Archer, represented by Senior Counsel Mr. Bernard De Santos.
His date for the hearing of his appeal was fixed for July 30, 2010.
The other appellants- Sandra Inniss, Ian Erskine, Winston Ferreira, Azad Bacchus, Charles Anderson, Vickram Singh Mazeed A.A. Ahad, Donald Rodney, Wayne Austin, Marlon Wilson, Anthony Augustine, Etanor, Kenneth Samaroo and Al Fraser, had their appeals fixed for hearing at divers dates between July 30 and September 10, 2010.
Lawyers from the Chambers of the Director of Public Prosecutions represented the Respondents.
