The saying that ‘lil axe does cut down big tree’ was proven true last night around 22:15h when this canter ploughed into a tree on Irving Street, in line with Pizza Hut on the opposite side of the road,  uprooting it in the process. The downside of it all, however, was that the driver, who thankfully was travelling alone, suffered the consequences as such was the impact he was reportedly pinned by the steering and had to be extricated and rushed off to the hospital.
