Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Producer, Mr. Ron Morrison said the goal of Mori J’von has always been to revolutionise local theatre and reach a wider market.
Reporting that the showing has received good response, he posited that it is the most electrifying and innovative theatrical production in Guyana today.
“Our live productions have thrilled audiences from every demographic and socio-economic background across our country. Today, we continue this journey of celebrating the power to laugh in living rooms throughout Guyana,” Morrison stated.
He announced that the 20 weeks syndicated programme will be aired every Sunday from now.
“Season one ends December 5 and the second 20 weeks will commence Sunday, January 2, 2011,” Morrison said.
About challenges his company has faced in recent months, he said, despite the best efforts of a few people of ill-will, who seem bent on crippling his vision, Comedy Jam is there to stay.
Morrison expressed his eternal gratitude to the fans, members of the cast and staff who have stood by his side every step of the way.
While the Mori J’von official sponsor is Sterling Products Limited, he exhorted other corporate entities to be supportive of his attempts to take comedy and the stage arts to the next level in Guyana.
