ADRIAN James, 18, was remanded to prison, by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson yesterday, on two charges of simple larceny.
The defendant, of Lot ‘E’ Norton Street, Lodge, Georgetown, is charged with stealing a laptop computer, valued $150,00, property of Hakemma Figuera and a $41,000 cell phone belonging to Keith Hutson.
Police Inspector Alexis David Hossannah, prosecuting, told the Court neighbours saw James handing the booty to his friends and raised and alarm.
He will remain incarcerated through July 26.
