A GOVERNMENT spokesman has dubbed the page one lead story in yesterday’s Stabroek News on speculation about President Bharrat Jagdeo seeking a third term in office as pure fabrication.
The President has repeatedly stated that he will abide by the constitutional requirement limiting him to two consecutive terms in office and the spokesman said this position stands.
The Stabroek News report, he noted, was more of a fishing expedition than a news story.
