Autopsy reveals…

Murdered taxi driver Kissoon suffered fractured skull, lacerations
AN AUTOPSY performed on the body of murdered Trevor Kissoon has revealed that the 27-year-old employee of J&N Taxi Service died from shock and haemorrhage as a result of a fractured skull and multiple lacerations.
The post mortem examination was done by Dr.  Vivikanand Brijmohan at New Amsterdam Hospital mortuary.

Kissoon’s corpse was taken out of a weed infested trench at Bramville, commonly referred to as Number Seven Village, Corentyne, shortly before midday on June 10, hours after he was dispatched to East Canje, also in Berbice, for passengers.
He had left his Alexander Street home the day before and is expected to be buried at Stanleytown Cemetery, also in New Amsterdam, today.
The vehicle he was driving HB 7489 has not yet been located but several persons detained for questioning have since been released, although the investigations are continuing.
Kissoon was killed one month after another taxi driver, Roy Mitchell Persaud alias ‘Fine Man’ and ‘Otis’ was discovered in the trunk of his burnt white ‘Toyota Carina’ on May 9.
While no one has been charged for his murder, Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh said the autopsy on Persaud’s remains was inconclusive due to extensive damage to the body.
Persaud, of  Mount Sinai (Angoy’s Avenue) Squatting Area) on the eastern fringe of New Amsterdam was recovered from in his car, PEE 9632, at Palmyra, East Canje, after the discovery was made by persons picking up scrap iron in the area.
