TOSHOAS of the Hinterland Affairs Committee of the Region Two (Pomeroon/Supenaam) Regional Democratic Council (RDC) are appealing for a dormitory to be constructed in Essequibo Technical Institute (ETI) compound at Anna Regina. A release by the Committee said 40 more students from Region One (Barima/Waini) will be attending that educational institution, on Essequibo Coast, to pursue courses this year and accommodation for them poses a serious problem.
Meanwhile, as the issue was being discussed at the Tuesday statutory meeting of the Region Two RDC, the Regional Administration announced that it has opened the doors of the Anna Regina Amerindian Hostel to those from Region One currently attending the ETI.
