T&T drew with South Africa

ST AUGUSTINE, Trinidad CMC – Trinidad & Tobago and South Africa played to a draw after rain allowed just 35 minutes play on the final day of their two-day, tour match at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground yesterday. It was the Proteas lone practice game ahead of their first Test against the West Indies, a team they whitewashed in the limited overs tournament recently.

South Africa 347 for four decl. (Alviro Petersen 65, A.B. de Villiers 53, J.P. Duminy 51, Mark Boucher 51 not out, Hashim Amla 44, Graeme Smith 41). Trinidad & Tobago 18 for one (Lendl Simmons 12; Dale Steyn 1-11)
