New Building Society Bill for Parliament next week

Government is expected to table the New Building Society Amendment Bill at the next sitting of the National Assembly scheduled for Thursday, May 27. Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr Roger Luncheon, revealed that the House will also consider a third reading of the Income Tax Amendment Bill which is to facilitate the single parent micro-credit scheme.
Also likely to be on the agenda is the report from the select committee for the consideration of the Disciplined Services Report.
The National Assembly will be considering the reports from the select committees appointed to discuss several Bills.
Dr Luncheon stated that the Custody, Guardianship and Maintenance Bill, and the Child Care and Development Services Bill have been fully examined by the parliamentary political parties and will be up for report and discussion. (GINA)
