. . . East Hartford Police looking for suspect /accomplice
EAST HARTFORD,Conn (The Hardford Court/Reuters) — Police have obtained an arrest warrant for a Brooklyn, N.Y. man, charging him with felony murder and home invasion in connection with the triple homicide at the WoodCliff Estates apartment complex May 6. Horvil Lebrick, 31, who is also known as “Trix,” is described as a black man, 6-feet-2, with a slim build and whose last known address is 141 E 21st St., Apartment 6L-E, Brooklyn.
East Hartford police are working with New York police to track down Lebrick.
The incident which occurred at 115 Nutmeg Lane, in an apartment near the University of Connecticut’s football stadium, left two men and a woman dead and another wounded.
Police later identified the two dead men twin brothers, Andrew and Andraw Moses, 21, from New York City, and the woman as Shawnlee Hudson, 26. She was shot in the chest.
The Moses twins, who both died of gunshot wounds to the head, were identified by their fingerprints as each reportedly had prior drug arrests. News here reported that they hailed from Mc Doom, East Bank Demerara and had migrated before they were teenagers.
Police believe Lebrick went to East Hartford with the twins, perhaps to collect a debt, burst into the home and killed its occupant, Hudson.
Hudson ‘s boyfriend walked in and exchanged gunfire with the men, but Lebrick fled when his two alleged conspirators were killed.
The boyfriend, whose name was not released, was wounded, and according East Hartford police, he is not cooperating with investigators.
In addition to felony murder and home invasion, Lebrick faces charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree assault, attempted first-degree robbery, and conspiracy charges.
Bail on the warrant is set at $3 million, police said. The warrant which a judge signed on Friday has also been sealed.
Police have advised residents to use caution because they have not recovered firearms using the killings.
