I would like to thank the management and staff of your national newspaper, the Chronicle Newspaper, for publishing my story. I am so grateful for your support and I will always support your office. Sir, I also want to tell the readers that the Chronicle newspaper is for the poor.
I went to the following media: Kaieteur News, Stabroek News, Channel 65 television station, Channel 6, Sharma television station and they all turned me down.
I served the Guyana Police Force in the following categories: Constable for 17 years, also a Community Police Group member for 17 years as a Rural Constable, Zeelugt CPG Chairman for 10 years, PTA Chairman of Zeelugt Primary School for three years, Secretary for ‘D’ Division CPG for three years and Vice Chairman of ‘D’ Division CPG for three years.
I want to thank all these people who turned me down. Sir, I am a born loser. I served my community and my country as a whole for all my life and all I received is 25 certificates of awards from the Guyana Police Force and the Zeeglut Primary School and two other certificates for services I gave.
Sir, for my matter which you published on Saturday, 13 March, 2010, in the Chronicle newspaper, I want to say thanks again and would also like you to please correct something for me.
“My big brother said that he will give me $5,000,000 for the property and he will build a big business on the lot and he will give me and my wife jobs and also we will still have access to live there on the premises and not $5,000,000 to build a big business.
Am I a born loser?
Gratitude to Guyana Chronicle management and staff
