I would like to bring to the attention of the Social Security Minister and the government that everyday you open the newspapers, there are under aged girls being raped. Robberies are all over the country, daring robberies. Well I am calling for no bail on these predators, also on conviction; give them a few strokes (lashes) and a sentence of life imprisonment. Drastic measures have to be taken to fit the crimes and it has to be implemented now. There are two sick rape cases in Sheet Anchor, Canje. One involves a 13-year old who got pregnant and the villain is a GDF soldier. Also there is the son of a preacher. He has since disappeared. The other one involves a step-father and the funny thing is, I understand that the mother of the victim has paid the lawyer to represent this rapist against her daughter.

How many more are hidden? So I am pleading with the government to have a heart. Let’s have laws to protect our little babies.
