A few months ago a tape recording emerged. The conversation was of two persons; Kwame Mc Coy and another person who clearly was aware that he was recording the conversation without the consent of Mc Coy.
From the conversation, it appeared that Mc Coy was engaged in, at most, the solicitation of sex. Never was it claimed even by the most vicious persons that sex actually occurred.
A birth certificate was produced which showed a person with the same first name of the boy on the tape recording to be 15 years old.
The police searched for this person and made public calls for him to come forward.
The Child Care and Protection Agency, after physically checking at certain residences, made public calls too for the boy and/or his relatives to disclose his whereabouts. None of these were successful. The boy never came forward.
Nevertheless, the US Embassy cancelled Mc Coy’s visa.
Last week a thirteen-year old came forward, made an affidavit and went to the police with a claim that Chandra Narine Sharma had been having sex with her since she was seven years old.
She further alleged that CN Sharma had engaged in sex with her three older sisters when they too were children. She also claimed that her little eight year old sister is the latest victim of this man.
Within two days, according to press reports, four of the sisters had all given statements to the police alleging that CN Sharma had raped them all continuously for a number of years. One of them alleges that she bore his child at age fourteen. Additionally, a twelve year old cousin of the girls has said that Sharma has sexually assaulted her.
CN Sharma has since been in the Georgetown Public Hospital claiming to be sick, thus preventing the allegations to be put to him or the charges laid against him.
Clearly there is more evidence here of allegations made and by far more persons than in any of the very sensational claims made against Mc Coy.
I expect the US Embassy to cancel the visa of CN Sharma.
It would be rather surprising and disappointing and indeed hypocritical if this presidential aspirant continues to enjoy relations with the embassies and continue to be invited to their diplomatic functions.
