SEVENTEEN-YEAR-OLD Mario Nascimento, of Lot 67 Croal Street, Stabroek, Georgetown yesterday appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson, charged with carnally knowing a girl under the age of 15 years.
But the mini-bus conductor burst into tears while protesting that he did not do anything to the nine-year-old girl.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge which said the offence was committed on April 6.
Nascimento was remanded to prison until May 11.
