GLEN LALL lays claim to his newspaper, the Kaieteur News being balanced, fair and objective though the majority of us Guyanese strongly believes otherwise. However, let us give him the benefit of the doubt, for the sake of argument on this occasion. It is ironic that with such credentials, the Kaieteur News has not seen it newsworthy to publicise the millions of dollars owed to the State by the brother of Glen Lall who owns a huge business in the City. In fact, there are all sorts of tactics being used to hold the State ransom to its legitimate claim.
Tell us, Kaieteur News, about the GPL transformer found at the Regent Street mall. Isn’t that worthy of a follow-up story in your newspapers?
We demand this newspaper to publish the tax evasion racket which caused GRA to lose millions of dollars, involving the owner/s of a popular shoe store in Georgetown.
There are numerous other stories through his own intervention Glen Lall caused not to have published in his newspaper even as he lays claim to being the guardian of righteousness. …….ha! ha! ha!………we know that is all mere words. Exercising tolerance to its extreme should not be seen as stupidity.
There is a clever thought that the Kaieteur News was established to shade the shenanigans of an ill-minded few by selectively using the newspaper to expose certain individuals and their wrongdoings. This strategy is used by drug-cartels to protect their interests and to disguise their operation.
The series of letters authored by me with special dedication to Glen Lall has a marked difference from the Kaieteur News’ lies, distortions and presumptions hidden under satire, their poor attempt at trying to be funny.
