It has been some weeks now that the traffic light at junction of Cemetery Road and Mandela Avenue (on the southern side) has not been working.
I believe it is known to all and sundry, who drive in Georgetown that at certain hours Mandela Avenue is an extremely busy thoroughfare and therefore those who are responsible for the functioning of traffic lights would have acted with the urgency and expediency to fix the light because its non-functioning could lead to ugly situations. Or are we waiting for this to happen before we fix the light?
