At Reliance, Canje…
At about 15:50 hrs last Friday, police ranks stopped and searched a motor car at Reliance, Canje in Berbice, during which a Yamaha electrical generator was found. The generator has been identified as being stolen from the premises of Baljit Bissoon of Reliance Abandon, also in Canje, on March 11 (the previous day).
A police statement said the driver and two other men who were in the vehicle have been arrested and are in police custody. The motor vehicle has also been detained.
