TROPHY Stall XI continued their dominance in the inaugural GT&T 10/10 softball nationwide cricket competition beating rivals Regal XI by a thrilling two-run margin recently at the Everest ground, Carifesta Avenue. Trophy Stall XI batted first and scored a challenging 92-5 at the expiration of the ten overs, while Regal XI, in reply, were left agonisingly two runs short when the overs ran out.

Regal XI, one the favourite teams in the competition, were placed comfortably at 80-4 in the 8th over, but a number of injudicious shots were responsible for their elimination.

Trophy Stall XI will be looking to continue their winning ways and a number of senior inter-county softball players have been included. They now look to compete against the 15 other teams in the crucial stage.
